ABSENTEE-IN-HOUSE VOTING SCHEDULE
GENERAL ELECTION HELD ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2018
In-house absentee voting for the General Election will begin on Monday October 8, 2018 thru Monday, November 5, 2018. Hours of operation for voting will be Monday thru Friday 9 AM to 4:30 PM and Saturday, October 13, October 20, October 27 and November 3, 2018 from 9 AM till 12:00 Noon. The in-house voting location is on the 2nd floor of the Courthouse, Room 206. If you have additional questions about in-house voting, please contact the County Clerk’s office at 606-473-7394.
Greenup County Clerk
Greenup is the county seat and the city of Flatwoods is the most populated city in the county. Popular attractions in the county include Bennett's Mill & Oldtown Covered Bridges, Greenbo Lake State Resort Park, Greenup County War Memorial, Jesse Stuart Nature Preserve, McConnell House, Old Fort Earthworks, & Anvil Rock. Route 23 (the Country Music Highway) runs along the eastern border of the county, serving as the primary means of travel. The northern terminus of the Industrial Parkway ends at Route 23 at Wurtland, connecting the county to Interstate 64.
